Day 1 Manila / Bangkok.

Depart Manila for Bangkok, upon arrival
transfer to your hotel for overnight accommodations. Balance of
day is free.Using Bangkok as a base to explore the Mekong Region,

Located on the banks of Chao Phraya River, Bangkok is a capital
in every senses. Resplendent with the spectacular Grand Palace,
the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and many other old temples,
the city exudes mystique, monarchical charms and grandeur. Bangkok
is, indeed, the Orient's most exotic capital.
Friday:
Day 2: Bangkok-Sukhothai
Breakfast
at the hotel. We leave Bangkok for Sukhothai by PG 630 ( 0815-0950
). The ancient cradle of Thai civilization, Sukhothai, was once
a thriving center of trade, culture and religion. In 1978, the
largest and most complex restoration effort in Thai history was
undertaken and, today, this ancient city along with its satellite
towns is a visual feast of evocative ruins situated among rolling
green hills and tranquil lotus filled ponds. Arrive Sukhothai
and transfer to hotel. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon visit Sukhothai
Historical Park where you will find among the attractions the
ruins of the royal palaces, Buddhist temples, a complex system
of canals and ponds to supply watertothe city and a lotus bud-shaped
stupa typifying Sukhothai architecture. Dinner at hotel. (BLD)
Saturday:
Day 3: Sukhothai - Luang Prabang
Breakfast
at hotel. We transfer to the airport for our next destination-
Luang Prabang by PG 634 ( 1210-1500 ). Located on the banks of
the Mekong River, Luang Prabang was the ancient capital of the
Lan Xang Kingdom. Surrounded by high forested mountains and rivers,
its location is very beautiful and peaceful. Luang Prabang was
awarded a World Heritage status by UNESCO, ensuring its glorious
temples, royal architecture, culture and traditions to remain
pristine for residents and its' visitors. Upon arrival in Luang
Prabang, visit Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and Phusi Hill till sunset.

Sunday: Day 4: Luang Prabang
Breakfast
at hotel. Today we will take an excursion river trip to Tham Ting
(Pak Ou Holy Caves) - the holy place for former kings to visit
on their annual river trips and a local rice-wine distillery village.
Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Wat Xieng Thong - the
masterpiece of Buddhist temple built in the 16th century with
impressive golden facades and colorful murals. and Ban Panom.

Monday:
Day 5: Luang Prabang
Breakfast
at hotel, visit Kuangsi waterfall and hill tribe village. Lunch
at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit weaving and Sa paper making. Dinner at local
restaurant.
Thuesday:Day 6: Luang Prabang - Danang - Hue
Breakfast
at hotel, visit National Museum. Transfer to airport, depart for
Danang by FT 632 ( 1240-1440 ).Upon arrival Danang, we will travel
directly to Hue. Located on the bank of Huong River (the Perfumed
River,) for approximately 400 hundred years, Hue (pronounced "way,")
was the political and cultural center of the Feudal State of Vietnam.
The royal architecture complex including the royal palaces, the
religious pagodas, many pavilions for official mandarins and dignitaries
and several imperial tombs are dedicated to the 13 kings of the
last Nguyen Dynasty. Hue is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You'll embark on a boat ride along Perfume River while enjoying
Hue traditional folk songs. Overnight in Hue. Dinner at local
restaurant. (BD)
Wednesday:
Day 7: Hue
Breakfast
at hotel. Visit Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tombs. Lunch at local
restaurant. Drive to visit Minh Mang Tomb. Take the boat along
the river to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Drive to Imperial Citadel.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hue.
Thursday:
Day 8: Hue - Hoi An
Breakfast
at hotel, drive from Hue to Danang (approximately 3 hrs.) Lunch
at local restaurant, visit Marble Mountains then drive onward
to Hoi An (1/2 hrs), visit Hoi An Ancient Town. Dinner at local
restaurant. Try the Cyclo tour (public tricycle) around the ancient
city. Overnight in Hoi An. (BLD)
Friday:
Day 9: Hoi An - Danang - Siem Reap
Breakfast
at hotel. Drive to Danang to visit Cham Museum-the best sculpture
of splendid Champa Civilization. Lunch in Danang. Depart from
Danang to Siem Reap by FT 633 ( 1550-1750 ) - the home of Angkor.
Arrive Siem Reap. Balance of day at leisure. A sleepy town in
northwestern Cambodia, Siem Reap, is the main site of the Angkor
temple complex. The temples of Angkor are breathtakingly beautiful,
a lasting monument to the greatness of the ancient Khmer Empire.
Founded in the 9th century, the ancient city's site covers almost
200 square kilometers, and draws visitors from around the world.
The spectacular lotus towers of Angkor Wat, the largest and main
attraction of Angkor dominate Cambodia's flat landscape. Dinner
at local restaurant. (BLD)
Saturday:
Day 10 Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel. Visit South Gate of Angkor
Thom, Bayon, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. A great city built
in12th century by Jayavarman VII. Bayon has more than 200 enormous
mysterious faces. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Pre
Rup and Angkor Wat - the largest religious monument in the world
taken 30 years to build by King Suryavarman II. Using sandstone
as the main material for the construction, the material was transported
by elephants from Kulen Mountain some 47kms away from the site.
Free at leisure. (BL)
Sunday:
Day 11 Siem Reap - Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for
departure from Siem Reap to Bangkok by PG 933 ( 1110 - 1210 ).
Overnight stay in Bangkok. (BL)
